Weekend Getaway
Our Christmas Present to each other 
this year was a weekend away.
We stayed at Erik's Ranch and Retreat - Minnesota
the Montana Ranch looks Amazing

the Ranch and Retreat center are ran by 

Adult Autistic Men and Women

of whom we only met a few, 

but were grateful to see life from their

viewpoint - if only for a moment.

Although we caught a movie, and did a little sight seeing, 

(Minnehaha Falls pictured above), really we didn't 

have anything planned, which is sometimes the best plan.

We ended up spending the bulk of our time working

through a Dream Guide for the Next Year...

so good to be on the same page, and so 

grateful for our marriage adventure

with all its growing pains and adjustments,

we wouldn't have it any other way...

UPDATE 2/26

Many perks to the Recon Trip

Tori checked off a major bucket list item.

She bravely soloed the trip, and took adventurous steps...

The unglamourous side of London 

and the realistic vs. idealistic 

playing field was leveled off...

Tori loved the Country Side 

but Big City Life [London Central]

being "Too Peopley" is not a life she desires, 

and a double confirmation, 

after spending an extended trip in New York City

a few summers ago.

So that has refined her dreams, [which is a good thing]

and coming back to a Reverse-Culture-Shock

[cabin fever in the north-woods & a mountain of school work]

has her a little unsettled, but it is a really good thing

to at least know what doors are closed for now, 

and begin to dream again...

Interim Worship Lead II Tori

Praying for Tori as she juggles

Multiple Tasks... 
College / Worship Lead / Christmas Service

She is the quintessential artist, 
mastering the arts of drawing, drama, speech, vocals, musician, acting, etc...
She has a remarkable gift, and is testing her abilities on multiple fronts.
While trying to finish her A.A. through Superior Community College, 
she was recently hired as the Interim Worship Lead at our home church.
Faithbridge Church is in transition with our leadership team.

The Lead Pastor position has been vacant for nearly 3 years, and 
we are nearing it's position being filled. The Worship Coordinator (Aaron Bradt), 
will be stepping down at the end of the month to follow God's Lead outside the vocation
of Faithbridge.  We are both grieving and grateful for the Bradt family. 
Aaron picked up the baton from Anna years ago and has advanced the Worship Team
into next generation viability... He brought another level of excellence
 both to the competency of musicians and the tech support.
Tori will be the Interim Coordinator (a position that was founded by her mother
a couple decades ago = Anna started contemporary worship @ Faithbridge).
appreciate your prayers as she fills some pretty large shoes.
... and again pray for the Bradts as they navigate the season of transition ahead.

Holiday Sabbatical

Are you a Snowbird? or maybe coming into a different season in your life? Do you have exercise equipment around that feels lonely? I may be able to assist you. I am looking for a treadmill, stationary bike, etc to baby sit this winter. Please contact Phil or Anna, if you would like us to keep the dust off your equipment this winter... seriously I am looking for some equipment, if it is not too  old and you wouldn't mind me putting some miles on it through the off season - I would be obliged. Actually: I'm trying to put together a health plan (rather than a sick plan) and getting my cardio back on track is a major part of that. Let me know if you have any interest... 🏃‍♂️🚵‍♂️
