How to field test a fossil 101?
the bone is more porous,
therefore licking it should
Form a suction... if suction fails
It may be a leavaright fossil...
In which case you
leave-it-right where you found it,
Because it is a pseudo-fossil.
This appears to be a shield horn of a triceratops.
